Frankly,
I think the staff of Progressive provides some of the greatest customer/technical
support that I have ever experienced. . . and having been in the
systems integration business, I have experienced a lot! In this infant
but growing arena of software for hand held computers, problems are inevitable
while programmers are in pursuit of error free operation for all users.
What separates the Progressive Group is how they handle these problems. .
. fast and effective. My phone calls and e-mails are always
returned promptly with effective answers/solutions. The best part is
that the people at Progressive never pass the buck. . . one never hears, "it
is not our program's fault, so call the hardware company. . . or the company
that makes the operating system" (as in Microsoft or Palm).
They face any problem head on until it is solved. . . and solved quickly!!
On the
product side, it is simply the best thing the automotive industry has found
since the introduction of "Books" that provide market values for
automobiles and trucks. Using Progressive's product
is literally like carrying five books! I used to carry five books 1)
NADA 2) NADA "old car guide" 3) BlackBook
for cars 4) BlackBook for trucks 5) BlackBook
"old car guide". . . yes these are five different books with hundreds
of pages! Now, I carry my handheld and have much faster and easier access
to any data found in these five books without fumbling through pages in different
books. Updating the figures takes just a few minutes. . .
the most it has taken me is about 6 minutes and it can be done anytime from
anywhere! What more can a person ask for?
